FOR YOUR LOCAL SERVICE BUSINESS
1. website Services
I'm a DIY-er, so back in the day, I built my own website for my business as well as websites for friends and acquaintances. I'm the techy sort that would rather learn to do it myself rather than pay someone else to do it. Not everyone is like me. Many business owners would prefer to do what they are good at instead of spend time trying to learn something new. For most businesses, it's clearly a cost savings to hire competent people who complete the task of building and maintaining a website. If this is you, great! We are here to help!
We use both WordPress and our own platform to build websites and funnels. We can integrate our automations into either, so if you already have a self-hosted WordPress website, then we can work with that. We are happy to take a look at your current website and make suggestions for enhancement, professionalism, readability and speed. If you would like us to update or overhaul your current website or design a completely new website, please contact us so we can discuss your options and pricing.
If you want to minimize costs and subscriptions, we can also host your WordPress website on our platform for a small additional fee.
If you prefer to do it yourself, we admire that! There are lots of platforms to get set up, so doing some due diligence is a good place to start. If you are interested in checking out our platform where we have local business templates, forms and workflows already created, learn more here. Our platform is simpler to learn and quicker to set up than WordPress.

Online Visibility: A website makes your business visible to potential customers searching online for local services. It allows you to establish an online presence, making it easier for people to find you through search engines.
Credibility and Professionalism: A well-designed website gives your business a professional image. It instills trust in potential customers and provides legitimacy to your services.
Information Hub: Your website serves as an information hub where potential customers can learn about your services, expertise, business hours, location, and contact details. It's a convenient way for people to gather information before making a decision.
24/7 Accessibility: Unlike a physical storefront, your website is accessible 24/7. This means that potential customers can learn about your services and contact you at any time, even outside regular business hours.
Marketing and Promotion: Your website is a valuable tool for marketing and promoting your services. You can showcase customer testimonials, highlight special offers, and provide engaging content that attracts and retains visitors.
Customer Engagement: Through your website, you can engage with your audience by providing helpful content, blog posts, and updates. You can also integrate contact forms, allowing visitors to reach out with inquiries or feedback.
Local SEO (Search Engine Optimization): A website is a crucial element for local SEO. It enables your business to appear in local search results, particularly in the "Local Pack" or "Map Pack" on search engine result pages (SERPs).
Contact and Appointment Booking: Include contact information, a contact form, and, if applicable, an appointment booking system on your website. This makes it easy for potential customers to get in touch or schedule services.
Cost-Effective Marketing: Compared to traditional advertising methods, maintaining a website is a cost-effective way to reach a wide audience. It can be updated regularly to reflect changes in services, promotions, or business information.
Educational Resource: Your website can serve as an educational resource for potential customers. Use it to explain your services, provide tips and advice, and showcase your expertise. This can help build trust and authority in your industry.
Feedback and Testimonials: Incorporate a section for customer testimonials and reviews on your website. Positive feedback from satisfied customers can influence potential clients and build confidence in your services.
Adaptability and Growth: A website is a flexible platform that can adapt to the changing needs of your business. As your business grows, you can update and expand your website to accommodate new services, locations, or features.

3. Influence of the GBP & SEO on the Map Pack rankings
Although optimization of your website and your Google Business Profile is part of our regular services above, it has quite an impact on the organic rankings of businesses in the Local Map Pack. We'd like to explain how Google ranks businesses in the Map Pack. As a local business you want to be one of the top three, so your business shows up at the top of Google's first page organically.
Google's local search results, often displayed in a section known as the "Map Pack" or "Local Pack," are determined by a variety of factors that assess the relevance, prominence, and proximity of local businesses. This Map Pack typically appears in the search results when users perform location-based queries or searches with local intent. Here are some key factors that influence how Google ranks local service business websites in the Map Pack:
Google My Business (GMB) Optimization: Claim and optimize your Google My Business listing. Ensure that your business name, address, phone number (NAP), and other details are accurate and consistent. Choose relevant categories for your business. Add high-quality photos and videos to your GMB profile.
Proximity to the User's Location: Google considers the physical distance between the user and the business location when generating local search results. The closer your business is to the user's location, the higher the chances of appearing in the Map Pack.
Relevance of Business Information: The relevance of your business to the user's query is crucial. Make sure your GMB profile includes accurate and detailed information about your services, products, and business offerings.
Quality and Quantity of Google Reviews: Positive reviews and high ratings contribute to the perceived quality of your business. Encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews on your GMB profile. Respond to reviews, both positive and negative, to show engagement and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Website Optimization: Ensure that your website is optimized for local search with relevant keywords, especially in title tags, meta descriptions, and on-page content. Include your business location and contact information prominently on your website.
Local Citations and Online Directories: Consistent business information across various online directories and local citations helps validate your business details and improve local search rankings. Ensure that your business information matches across platforms.
Business Categories and Attributes: Choose accurate and specific categories for your business on GMB. This helps Google understand the nature of your services. Utilize additional attributes that describe your business, such as whether your business offers Wi-Fi, accepts credit cards, etc.
Website Authority and Backlinks: A strong website with good domain authority can positively impact your local search rankings. High-quality local backlinks from reputable websites can contribute to your website's authority and local relevance.
Mobile Friendliness: With an increasing number of searches conducted on mobile devices, having a mobile-friendly website is crucial for local SEO.
Click-Through Rate (CTR) from Local Search Results: Google may consider the click-through rate of your business in local search results. A high CTR indicates that users find your business appealing and relevant.
Behavioral Signals: User engagement signals, such as the time spent on your website, can indirectly influence local search rankings.
It's important to note that Google's algorithms are dynamic and may change over time. We stay updated on local SEO best practices and adapt your strategy accordingly.
4. Google Entity Stacking
Google Entity Stacking is a fairly new concept to the world of SEO. In fact, it's not considered part of the regular search engine optimization family of tricks because it isn't actually SEO...it's better. It works quicker than regular SEO techniques. When good, quality content is published on the internet using Google's own entities (platforms), it's indexed quickly and is considered cream of the crop.
Google loves itself and all the entities and platforms it's created over the years. When a user creates & publishes content on any Google platform, Google has a habit of indexing it first. This is true for Google Sites, or any website that incorporates Google's platforms into their sites.
So why not take advantage of this loophole and let us set up your Google Entity Stack today!
Quicker to Index: Google loves indexing their entities first; take advantage of that!
Considered Better Ranking: If you were to publish the same content (comparing apples to apples) on a Google platform vs. a non-Google platform, you can bet that the information on the Google platform will rank higher than the other.
The above ideas are services an agency can do for your business. In addition, consider the following ideas that only the local business owner or employee can do:
Engage in Local Social Media: Establish and maintain an active presence on social media platforms that are popular in your local community. Share relevant content, engage with your audience, and showcase your business personality.
Local Partnerships and Collaborations: Collaborate with other local businesses or organizations to cross-promote each other's services. Participate in local events or sponsor local initiatives to increase your visibility.
Responsive Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to inquiries and reviews. Show that you value and appreciate customer feedback, whether positive or constructive.
